Christy Chan is also an installation artist that makes large scale projection art.  “All is Not Lost” (2020)  is a six story video projection of a waterfall flowing backwards on the side of a historic mill, commissioned by the the State of New York Foundation for the Arts.  The exhibition can be seen by passengers traveling in either direction on NYC’s Metro North train, and has been drawing visitors from all over the New York region who are hungry for cultural experiences during a time of pandemic and social distanced isolation. Outdoor art is predicted to become a central part of U.S. arts funding from 2020 – 2021.
